Everyone: Stop Child Labour

Child Labor.

Child Labour is the practice of having children engage in economic activity, on a part- or full-time basis. The practice deprives children of their childhood and is harmful to their physical and mental development. Poverty, lack of good schools and the growth of the informal economy are considered to be the key causes of child labour in India.
Some other causes of Child Labor in India are cheap wages and accessibility to factories that can produce the maximum amount of goods for the lowest possible price. Corruption in the government of India also plays a major role in child labour because laws that should be enforced to prevent child labour are not because of the corrupt government.

People should support this petition because there are children out there that are being sold to slavery or even working in a dangerous factory that are not suitable for children. I started this petition because of a school assignment. It can make a difference, by showing that there are people out in the world that are supporting this.
Throughout history, young children were employed in dangerous factories, and often fatal working conditions. Now the use of child labourers is known as a human right violation and is outlawed, while
some countries allow or tolerate child labour. Child labour is also considered full-time employment to children who are paid under minimum age, and that is underage in the 21st century.
Child labour is still common in parts of the world; 250 to 304 million children are being laboured in the world.children ages 5-17 are working out in the field. 22%of the workforce in Asia, 32% in Africa, 17% in Latin America, 1% in US Canada, Europe and others. Even though child labour is banned, in China it is unclear “high secret” China has enacted to prevent child labour but there have been reports the practice of child labour in China.
The cause of child labour is because it is usually crucial for his or her own survival or for the household. 20-40% of child earnings are household incomes. Sometimes children work because they have nothing better to do. In Rural areas when schools are available, it might be too far away, unaffordable or the parents are too poor and going to school is not worth it. In the cultural perspective child labour was common,  shows good character-building and skill development skills. Some families believed that it is a tradition for children to follow their parent's footsteps, where children learn and practice at an early age.
9th April  2013, India directed; children under the age of 14 will be ban from employment. Expect a child can work with his or her family of learning a new trade.
Also, children ages 14-18 years of age will not be forced to work.
While children need to go to school, they go to factories to work. The future of our world is children, which they need a good foundation. Children that work in that country makes them a third world country because they are not getting the firm education they need to make a strong united country.
